GPS is Darwin's friend
This article of people driving over bridges that aren't there just goes to show that in the absence of natural foes, technology can steep right in to be Darwin's friend. I can see the bumper sticker now - "When you drive with GPS you ride with Darwin".
I don't suppose this would be a good time to suggest if someone really wanted to do some damage to the US all it would have to do would be to hack all the GPS network and start sending more than cars off bridges.
